We accept donations at the Community Hall one day a week:    Fridays 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm

Please separate your donations into the pre-assigned bins placed around the community hall.

Due to our small size and limited storage space, we are only able to accept two bags or two boxes of donations per household per week.

If you have a large donation, please click here to get our information sheet  large_donation_handout__for_donors.pdf, or email us at [email protected].

We rely on donations of gently used goods and clothing to meet our goal of providing the community of Pender Harbour with an exceptional thrift store shopping experience and very reasonable prices.

Please check your donations to make sure that the items are saleable.  That means they are clean and in good repair.  A good rule of thumb is to ask yourself if you would purchase that item in that condition for yourself, for a family member or for a friend. If the answer is no (excepting issues of size, style or taste), it is probably something we can’t use.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE DONATIONS AT THE BARGAIN BARN, we can't process them and they will be discarded.  Also, please don't leave donations outside THE COMMUNITY HALL.
THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT ACCEPTED FOR RESALE:
  • ANYTHING THAT DOES NOT COMPLY WITH HEALTH CANADA GUIDELINES FOR THRIFT STORES
  • ANYTHING THAT IS DIRTY OR RUSTED AND HAS NO POTENTIAL FOR RESALE
  • CLOTHING THAT IS DIRTY, TORN, ZIPPER BROKEN OR COVERED IN PET HAIR

If you are unsure if an item, not on this list, is acceptable, please ask the donations lead to determine the suitability of the donation.
